Í siglandi toyminum umborð á Norrönu leggja vit stóran dent á hugna, samanhald og at geva gestunum upplivingar.

Starvið sum starvsfólk í Tax Free handlinum fevnir um at selja og ráðgeva innan spennandi vøruúrvalið, og sjálvandi at veita eina framúr tænastu við at hugsa loysnir og hjálpsemi í ymiskum støðum. Harumframt fevnir starvið um at móttaka og skráseta vørur, seta tær á hillarnar, pynta og halda handilin reinan og ruddiligan. Við tínum hugskotum og í samráð við tínar leiðarar, hevur tú eisini møguleika at seta tín dám á handilin. Tú verður partur av okkara stóra toymi, og vit taka væl ímóti tær.

Tú
Vit virðismeta, at tær dámar at práta við fólk og heldur, at virðiligt samskifti og góð tænasta ger allan munin. Harumframt dugir tú vanligt teldubrúk, vanlig telduforrit og megnar at samskifta á enskum og norðurlendskum máli.

Starvssetan- og treytir
Starvið er fyribils tíðaravmarkað frá seinast í mai 2024 til seinast í september 2024, men við møguleika fyri at leingja setanina. Tú siglur 1:1, ið merkir, at hevur tú verið 4 vikur umborð, so fært tú eisini løn tær 4 komandi vikurnar heima. Tú kemur at arbeiða skiftandi túrar tvs. bæði longri túrar á 4 vikur, stytri túrar- og vikuskiftistúrar.

Trygdin er grundarsteinurin í øllum, sum vit gera, og tí bjóða vit eisini trygdarskeið umborð.

Setanartreytir eru sambært sáttmála millum Føroya Fiskimannafelag & Reiðarafelagið fyri Handilsskip.

Freist at søkja
Umsóknarfreistin er er 2. mai 2024.  Umsóknir verða viðgjørdar leypandi.
Tú søkir starvið við at senda tína umsókn umvegis frymilin niðanfyri.

Um Smyril Line
Høvuðsvirksemið hjá Smyril Line er at reka ferðafólka- og farmavirksemi. Smyril Line eigur størsta ferðafólkaskipið í Norðuratlantshavi, Norrönu. Harumframt eigur Smyril Line farmaskipini Mykines, Akranes og Glyvursnes. Flutningsfyritøkan OCD, Hotel Hafnia og Hotel Brandan, eru eisini partur av Smyril Line samtakinum. Smyril Line hevur virksemi og skrivstovur í Føroyum, Danmark, Íslandi, Týsklandi og Hollandi.

Norröna’s sailing team is all about creating a warm atmosphere, team spirit and giving our guests experiences for life. 

The position in our Tax-Free shop involves selling and advising customers shopping from our exciting range, and of course offering excellent service by finding solutions and offering help in different situations. As well as receiving and registering stock, restocking shelves, decorating the shop and keeping it clean and tidy. With your ideas and in consultation with your managers, you will also have a chance to make your mark on the store. You will become part of our big team and we will give you a warm welcome. 

You
What we value most is that you enjoy talking to people and believe that respectful communication and good service make all the difference. In addition, you know how to use computers for general tasks, including using common software, and you can communicate in English, as well as different Nordic languages. 

Terms and conditions of employment
The position is initially fixed-term from late May 2024 until the end of September 2024, but with the possibility of extending employment. You will be signing on for variable periods, meaning you will sometimes be working for periods of 4 weeks on board, other times shorter periods or just a weekend. You will be sailing 1:1, which means that if you have spent 4 weeks on board, then you will also receive pay for the following 4 weeks at home. 

Safety is the cornerstone of everything we do, and we therefore also offer safety courses on board. 

The terms and conditions of employment are pursuant to the collective agreement between the trade union Føroya Fiskimannafelag and the employer’s association Reiðarafelagið fyri Handilsskip.
